Alton Manor Open Spaces is a Transition Belper Group that has been working on the area of land near Whitemoor, behind the football field.  They’ve recently seen the fruits of their labour with some fabulous wildflower areas coming to life (see picture above).  They’ve created pathways to enable better access, pulled up a massive amount of Himalayan Balsam (Himalayan balsam / RHS Gardening), planted fruit and nut trees and so much more!
