We’re thrilled to announce the success of our “Chinatown” screening – a fantastic kick-off to our eco-conscious film series!  Your support made it a memorable evening.

Upcoming Events:

Sunday, 10th December 2 pm: Join us for the family-friendly matinee of The Lorax, entertaining and educating all ages with a renewed appreciation for nature.

Thursday, 18th January 8.15 pm 2024: Dive into climate activism with the insightful documentary How to Blow Up a Pipeline.

Transition Belper members enjoy a £1 discount on tickets as a token of our gratitude.

Grassroots Wirksworth have also organised a series of Eco-Films showing at the cinema there:

  • Sunday, 10th December: The Biggest Little Farm – An uplifting documentary about a couple creating a sustainable farm.
  • Sunday 4th February 5.00pm: Finite – The Climate of Change is an insider’s view of the world of direct action. Documentary.
  • Sunday 3rd March 5.00pm – No Impact Man – Documentary following a family’s year long experiment to have a zero impact on the environment.
  • Sunday 7th April 5.00pm – Woman at War – Icelandic-Ukrainian comedy-drama around activism.
