Green Exchange and Repair Café at Number 28: Nov 27th

Transition Belper’s Green Exchange and the Repair Café are back on November 27th at Number 28 from 10-1pm.

It’s that time of the year when we start to put the heating on and inevitably the bills shoot up…luckily, Transition Belper are on hand with a team of experts to share their advice on home energy!

But who is this dream team of home energy experts?

First up we have Paul Honeyman, Head of Product Management for Vaillant, who is coming along to talk about heat pumps at 10:30 and 11:30 (5-10 minute repeat talk) and he will be available in between to answer your questions.

Second is Peter Burgess-Allen, who you may remember from the Energy Van at the Belper Food Festival last summer. Peter works for MEA, and will be focusing on services such as Warmer Derby & Derbyshire, billing problems, subsidised/free loft and cavity wall insulation, home visits for draughtproofing and more.

And last but not least is Tony Cooper – Transition Belper’s resident Energy man – who will also be available throughout to offer advice on Home Energy. You could even book an appointment for a Home Energy Survey, if you’d like more specific advise.

As always the Belper Repair Café will be open so do bring your damaged or broken clothes, toys, electrical items and anything else you’d like repairing and they’ll try and fix it.

You can even enjoy a hot drink and some cake whilst you wait!
