Zero Carbon Training is a 2 day course at Fleet Arts, The Fleet, Belper on Saturday, 22nd and Sunday, 23rd Feb 2020. 9.30am to 4pm both days.
The course is run by Zero Carbon Belper with Dr Matt Connell from Nottingham Trent University, Dr Andrew Jarvis from Lancaster University, and Artist Tan Draig, O.B.E.
It promises to be an excellent 2 days where the organisers hope to further knowledge and deepen understanding of the climate crisis and to inspire the changes we need. An important part of the course will be an emphasis on practical solutions (linked to the Zero Carbon Britain Initiative) with examples of carbon neutral projects. Expect a combination of education, discussion, participation and fun! (Play the Carbon City Zero game). The organisers believe that it will take many of us pulling in the same direction to enable change, and that each of our actions can contribute to making a zero carbon future happen.
All are welcome to attend the course. The cost is £12 and any profits after costs will be given to Belper’s flood fund.
