#ShowTheLove Eco Event

The Show The Love Eco event is a free drop in event on Saturday, February 15th from 16.00-18.00 at St Peter’s Church, Belper.
The organisations attending are Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, The Derwent Valley Trust, Sue’s Sustainables, Extinction Rebellion, Kim Kerry textile artist, Belper Permaculture Network, Belper Repair Cafe, Transition Belper, Belper Parks Volunteers, Belper Beats Plastic, Edible Insects, Derby Greenpeace, Refill Belper, the Woodland Trust and Katherine Wheatley author of ‘Carbon Monster’. Katherine will be running a children’s activity.
There will be free wooden and fabric hearts and wildflower seeds for attendees. People can use the hearts to show they are rewilding an area.
The organisers also hope to have some more information about the planned Community Orchard at the end of Snowberry Avenue.
And there will be a café with homemade cakes and biscuits.
