Due to the impact of coronavirus, Belper Goes Green 2020 and 2021 were sadly cancelled.
It was a massive disappointment for the Transition Belper team, but things are changing and we’re ready to build back greener in 2022. That’s where you come in…
Meeting on Tuesday 16th November 2021, 7.30pm
It’s impossible to put on an event the size of Belper Goes Green on our own. With people stepping down or retiring from roles over the last two years we just don’t have the team in place to make it happen.
We’re looking for people to join the team in the following areas:
- Event management
- Health and safety
- Stall bookings
- Overseeing volunteers
- Publicity
- Sponsorship
- Entertainment
- Wellbeing
- Talks
- Recycling and waste
- Site decor
Without your support we may not be able to go ahead next year, so if that sounds up your street and you have time to volunteer at a well-loved community festival then come along to this meeting on Tuesday 16th November or email at info@transitionbelper.org
