The B.E.A.R.S team will be joining the kids zone offering a friendly and supportive space to breastfeed for any mums that want it. Our volunteers will be on hand to offer information and support, and kids will have the chance to get creative making a decorating their own ‘Super Mummy’.
Boom Magazine will have a stall selling their ‘Family Walks for Little Legs’ book and you can pick up a free copy of the latest magazine jam packed with ‘eco-themed’ articles.
On Sunday there will even be a hand-turned carousel next to the Kids Zone!
The Belper Cloth Nappy Library will also be on site to offer advice on reusable nappies.
See list and map for location of kids’ stalls.
Polite request: Please do not leave your children unattended in the Kids Zone – children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Experience the magic of the Human Library!
Pop in to borrow a ‘human book’ who has been labelled, stereotyped and judged by society and do a good deed – borrow them for a chat and unjudge them!
Examples of book titles include Muslim, Bipolar, On Benefits, Refugee, Punk, Genderfluid, Black Youth, Mental Health Patient, Wheelchair User etc
Connect with another human being, ask the curious questions you may not usually ask, and explore how the world feels from another life perspective.
