What Do You Want Belper Goes Green 2022 To Be?

Due to the impact of coronavirus, Belper Goes Green 2020 and 2021 were sadly cancelled.

It was a massive disappointment for the Transition Belper team, but things are changing and we’re ready to build back greener in 2022.

That’s where you come in…

Putting the band back together:

It’s impossible to put on an event the size of Belper Goes Green on our own. With people stepping down or retiring from roles over the last two years we just don’t have the team in place to make it happen.

We’re looking to build a new events team and need fresh faces who love team work, organising, event planning, health & safety, decorating, spreadsheets, connecting, marketing and most importantly saving the environment!

If that sounds up your street and you have time to volunteer on a well-loved community festival then come and talk to us. We will be at our Eco Market on the Transition Belper stand (Sunday September 12th, Belper Market Place, 10am-3pm) and we want to hear from you!
